74th Hare & Hound Check Chase by Checkers MC (2024) / Youth Moto
Opening the 2024 Racing Season for Team Real Racing where our newest and youngest team members, Blake and Luke Dominguez with their participation in the 74th Hare & Hound Check Chase, hosted by the Checkers MC, in Teagle Wash, CA.They both won this series overall in 2023 and had their bikes fully stripped and rebuild themselves during the holidays to take on this race, now also representing the Team Real Racing brand and colors.Saturday, January 6th 2024, saw the junior classes doing a 7 mile loop race with a cut off time of 1.5 hours and Luke Dominguez fought his way through the competitors who'd beat him off the start line, completed 11 laps and secured himself a 3rd place in class!!!Sunday, January 7th 2024, was the main race, a 2 lap, 80 mile race, with a very fast first lap (Blake completed his in 58 minutes, and a very technical and at times gnarly second lap, which Blake safely mastered in 1:45hrs.Crossing the finish line after almost 3 hours in the desert, Blake Dominguez learned that he had won his class and come in 48th overall (out of more than 340 starters that day)
