The greatest American Desert Race saw our team members race and represent Team Real Racing as our Geiser TT is in the shop to receive a new engine and getting prepared for the next Legacy race in April.Devin and his son Trent, came up with a plan to race their longest and probably toughest race ever in their 5/1600 bug and everyone stepped up to help and support Ken and Ruben who also shared driving and navigating duties and with the support of Casey, handled the main pit, too.With their transponder not working, the opening first lap became the toughest for everyone in the pit, as Trent and Ruben suffered two flats and mechanical issues and you can imagine the relief when they finally, after just over 3 hours made it back to Main Pit!The next two laps went smooth and the goal was to finish, which they did with a 4th in class!Casey then raced on Saturday in the 30+ Class with the plan to ironman the race.Leading his class for almost 3.5 laps, fatigue got to him and he finished 5th in class!
