As you may have already seen on our Instagram feed, the race didn’t go as planned for us.
We got of to a great start and were leading in our class after half the race when disaster struck with a big bolder taking out one of our lower control arms on the Geiser TT.
We limped to the next pit and got our pit crew to meet us there.
With their combined efforts and the assistance by other teams pit crews we managed to fix the control arm with a sleeve cut from our front end and after almost 2 hours of work we were back in the race!
This team effort and dedication to never give up got us a 2nd place podium finish in our class!
